Real Madrid encouraged by Adriano's Inter Milan frustration

Real Madrid chiefs have been encouraged by Adriano's deteriorating situation at Inter Milan.

The Brazilian is growing increasingly frustrated by the tactics of Inter coach Roberto Mancini and was relegated to the bench for Sunday's disappointing defeat by city rivals AC Milan.

Adriano also had a bust-up with an Inter fan, who racially abused the Brazilian and accused him of already having signed for Real Madrid.

Inter president Giacinto Facchetti acknowledged Adriano's frustrations last night: "We know he is a little disappointed not to have played from the start."

Real president Florentino Perez wants to bring Adriano to the Santiago Bernabeu, but won't bid for the player until he submits an official transfer request.

Given the current climate, those close to Adriano say its only a matter of time before the striker decides he's had enough of being an Inter player.
