Real Madrid edge closer to Higuain deal

Real Madrid are closer to securing River Plate striker Gonzalo Higuain.

River directors have already assured Higuain's father that they won't block the progress of his son should the terms be acceptable over a move to Real Madrid.

AS says Higuain's agent, Norberto Recassens, met with River yesterday in Buenos Aries to discuss the latest developments.
