Real Madrid doc: Woodgate fit as a bull

Real Madrid defender Jonathan Woodgate is desperate to make his debut.

Sidelined by a thigh injury, the England international isn't expected to make his Real bow until next month.

"I feel good," he said. "Everyday, things are getting better. Little by little. But what I really need is to play."

Real doctor Juan Carlos Hernandez described Woody as "a bull" and was confident he would make a full recovery.

"All this recovery takes a great effort. He works like an animal. In two weeks he will be able to train with his teammates and in just a short time, if everything goes well, he will be more than ready to play," said Hernandez.
