Real Madrid directors are becoming increasingly concerned over coach Carlo Ancelotti's ability to handle the job.

The derby defeat at home to Atletico Madrid has some on the board rattled and openly questioning the Italian's appointment, says Sport.

The growing frustration of fans is turning up the heat on the board, with supporters increasingly tired of the attitude of some players and also questioning Ancelotti's play and tactics.

For the moment, however, president Florentiono Perez will stand with his coach, having chased Ancelotti's signature for over five years.
