Real Madrid desperate to sign Man United target: He'll replace Cristiano Ronaldo

Real Madrid reportedly want to sign Manchester United target Kylian Mbappe as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Monaco sensation has been linked with a move away from Ligue 1, with United, Real, Chelsea and Arsenal all keen on the 18-year-old.

The France international has been in fine form this season, netting 19 goals and chipping in with five assists in all competitions.

And Spanish outlet Diario Gol say Real have a plan to land Mbappe and sell talisman Ronaldo.

They say president Florentino Perez is desperate to make a marquee signing and Ronaldo will be sacrificed.

Real plan to sign Mbappe next summer - 12 months before his contract runs out in 2019.

Diario Gol add that Perez wants to sell Ronaldo in the same transfer window to a Chinese Super League side.

Real are reportedly unsure about how effective the former United star will be as he ages and are willing to offload him.
