Real Madrid deny talks with Arsenal's Lauren

Real Madrid have denied reports that they have secured Arsenal fullback Lauren to a pre-contract.

"Real Madrid Football Club wants to make totally clear that the information is absolutely false that assures that the player Lauren, of Arsenal FC, is negotiating with this club. They have not existed, nor do they exist, contacts for the hiring of this soccer player," said a statement on Real's website.

"This club wants to make clear that the relationship between Real Madrid and Arsenal is excellent."
