Real Madrid defender Pepe: I'm ready to play

Pepe has declared himself fully fit and available for Real Madrid's clash at Sevilla this weekend.

The Brazilian-born Portugal international hasn't played since breaking down on the opening day of the season against Atletico Madrid and has drawn comparisons with former Real centre-half Jonathan Woodgate.

"I am very well, completely recovered. Tomorrow I hope to be back in the squad, but playing is more difficult because the team is at a very good level. The defenders are playing well," said Pepe.
