Real Madrid defender only wants Inter move

Portuguese player Fabio Coentrao says he wants to leave current club Real Madrid for Serie A side Inter.

The 27-year-old appears to have already decided on his next footballing destination and it looks like Nerazzurri fans could soon be celebrating a new arrival in Milan.

Reports in AS are suggesting that Coentrao has handed in an official request to leave Madrid and has made it known that he wants to wear the Inter shirt next season.

The story also suggests that Italian officials are set to talk with their Spanish counterparts and try to come to some kind of financial arrangement that would allow the full-back to sign for the Biscione.

The former Benfica ace moved to Los Blancos in 2011, but has only managed 55 league appearance since joining the La Liga outfit.

He does have, however, over 50 Portugal caps to his name.
