Real Madrid defender Metzelder slams Man Utd's Ronaldo over £100M claims

Real Madrid defender Christophe Metzelder has blasted Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Germany international has taken issue with Ronaldo's claims that "special players" are worth "£100 million".

Metzelder rapped: "They're special players, who make a difference in a team, but now in a time of crisis, financial problems, I think you should not say that a player is worth £100 million. It is a rare thing."

On his own fortunes, the defender added: "For me, everything has changed a lot with Juande Ramos, I have more chances to play. He is happy with my work, my effort but there is much competition in my position."
