Real Madrid defender Meija receives Premiership offer

Real Madrid defender Alvaro Meija has received offers from Premiership and Serie A clubs.
 
Meija wants a move this month and his agent, Jian Aisa, revealed: "Alvaro is crazy to play and has a healthy attitude. There are players who resign themselves to the bench, but he is not like that."

"He wants to grow as a player and to demonstrate his football so to return to Real Madrid with more experience."

Getafe have expressed interest, while two Italian clubs and a Premiership team have also made contact with Aisa. The English offer is for a six-month loan.
