Real Madrid convinced they have signed new Messi in 7yo Leonel Angel Coira

Real Madrid believe they've captured the new Lionel Messi - seven year-old Argentine Leonel Angel Coira.

Real junior coach Rafael Gabaldon confirmed to Ole yesterday that they had signed Coira - who becomes the youngest foreign signing in the history of the Madrid giants.

Coira is already being likened to Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi and chose Real ahead of a rival offer from Atletico Madrid.

The youngster has been living in Spain for three years and his Dad revealed: "The Atletico scouts saw him play and were the first to send him an invitation letter. But after doing tests with both teams, he felt more comfortable playing at Real Madrid."
