Real Madrid continue Man Utd talks over Van Nistelrooy

Real Madrid remain locked in talks with Manchester United over striker Ruud van Nistelrooy.

The Independent says United have yet to resolve the future of Van Nistelrooy, who has made it clear publicly that he wants to stay at Old Trafford.

Real Madrid are negotiating for the Dutchman and are close to the £30 million figure that would help the sale go through.

If the deal is struck, then United would switch their attentions to Olympique Marseille striker Didier Drogba, who is open to a move to either Old Trafford or Chelsea over the summer.
