Real Madrid contact agent of Espanyol's Roger

Real Madrid sports chief Jorge Valdano is ready to move for Espanyol midfielder Roger.

The Spanish international is still to reach an agreement over a new contract with the Barcelona club and could be snapped up by Real on a Bosman at the end of the season.

Valdano has asked Roger's agent, Jose Maria Orobitg, to keep him informed of his talks with Espanyol.
