Real Madrid consider new £12M Arsenal bid for Owen

Arsenal have made an offer for Real Madrid striker Michael Owen.
 
AS says the Gunners have introduced a bid of £12 million for the England international in the last week.

Real want £16 million for Owen, but could cash in now as they seek to fund their own transfer plans with the sale of several first team stars.

Along with Owen, Walter Samuel, Santiago Solari and Luis Figo are all being touted to Europe's biggest clubs.

Arsenal's bid for Owen isn't the only one on the boardroom table at Madrid, but is the biggest so far.
