Real Madrid consider bid for Sevilla star Kanoute

Real Madrid are interested in Sevilla ace Fredi Kanoute.

The Mali international's form this season has him installed as favourite for Europe's Golden Boot and his goals have fired Sevilla to the top of the Primera Liga.

Real are considering a move for the ex-Tottenham striker, who is contracted to Sevilla until 2009 with the relatively affordable buyout clause of £15 million.
