Real Madrid confirm Liverpool talks for Figo

Real Madrid have confirmed Luis Figo is in talks with Liverpool.

The Sun says Real have confirmed that Figo is free to join Rafa Benitez's team, if he can agree personal terms.

Figo is believed to be seeking £90,000-a-week, but Liverpool are insisting the Portuguese veteran must accept half that demand if he is to join them this season.
