Real Madrid confident Woodgate fit for preseason

Real Madrid medicos have given defender Jonathan Woodgate the all-clear and are confident he will be available to do a full preseason.
 
The England international has returned to Madrid to continue his rehab after spending a fortnight with his family back in the Northeast.

Real doctors say he is fully recovered from surgery on problems with his left thigh and knee. He is now running freely and Real officials are confident he will be available for the start of preseason.
