Real Madrid confident they have Beckham agreement

Real Madrid have scoffed at Barcelona claims that they have an agreement for Manchester United midfielder David Beckham.

The Sun says Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has an agreement with United chief executive Peter Kenyon already in place.

Beckham's agents, SFX, have also investigated the financial benefits of his image rights.

The deal is believed to be worth around £20 million, plus the choice of one player for United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
