Real Madrid confident of €25M agreement for Benfica wing star Di Maria

Real Madrid are close to settling on a fee with Benfica for winger Angel di Maria.

Marca says Real president Florentino Perez has offered €25 million for the Argentina international and is confident the bid will be accepted.

Benfica have been holding out for Di Maria's buyout clause - €40 million - but such is the will of the player that Florentino is confident terms will be settled.

Real expect to confirm Di Maria's capture some time next week.
