Real Madrid concerns over increasingly isolated Schuster

Real Madrid directors are growing concerned with the way Bernd Schuster is becoming increasingly isolated from his players.

AS says Real's football staff and directors fully support Schuster, but are undecided if the German is the ideal long-term solution for the club.

Schuster is disappointed by some of the market initiatives Real are currently working on, including the lifetime deals for Raul, Iker Casillas and Guti, and is becoming more isolated not only from members of staff, but also his players.

The coach has made his feelings known to president Ramon Calderon, who has publicly backed the German.

The directors who Schuster is unhappy with insist they have never interfered in his tactical and team selections and that he continues to enjoy the majority of the board's support.
