Real Madrid coach Schuster: Mijatovic relationship good

Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster insists his relationship with sports director Pedja Mijatovic is positive.

Despite reports of being disappointed with the lack of a striker signing over the summer, Schuster declared: "Certainly we talk about everything. And one of the things we both acknowledge is that we have a president who allows us to work.

"We know the difficulties of transfers in January, but we will go into it with eyes wide open. The president gives the go-ahead, but the responsibility (to make signings) will be left to both of us."

Schuster joked when asked about his relationship with Mijatovic, "I imagine that the answer is no good to you, but it really is true. What is true is that sometimes we have opposing views, but that is all."
