Real Madrid coach Schuster hits out at ref reports

Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster insists he was set up by the media over his criticism of referees last week.

He explained: "It is just a pity that I am the coach of Real Madrid and I cannot afford the luxury of responding to all this. But what happens is that I get the blame for all this because of what you interpret from me is very bad."

"You ask the people in a way that they can only respond negatively."

Schuster: "I think I was maybe misunderstood."
