Real Madrid coach Schuster calm ahead of potential title clincher

Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster has shrugged off the prospect of clinching the Spanish Liga title today against Athletic Bilbao.

"I'm not thinking about how it will be nor how important it will be in my life," smiled Schuster, who has never won a league championship in his ten years of coaching.

"I am convinced that sooner or later we will win the Liga."

"There is great excitement from the fans, because every week we are closer to the goal, which is to win the Liga title. Everyone is in a very good mood and focusing on winning the games that are left."

"I've always enjoyed the confidence of the president. He said that even without winning the Liga I was doing a good job - and I am still confident."
