Real Madrid coach Schuster again suffers through tense media conference

Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster endured another tense media conference after last night's Copa del Rey elimination by Real Union last night.

After keeping the media pack waiting for 45 minutes, Schuster spent just two minutes with journalists before leaving the conference room.

"I congratulate Real Union for their victory and progress to the next round of the Copa del Rey," said Schuster.

"It is not a problem of attitude. Everyone ran and played, but we had few chances because the opponent made our life difficult. It was difficult."

Asked about his leaky defence, Schuster replied: "I have no idea."

The German was then quizzed if he had concerns over his job.

"No, but I understand that others may do. I understand that others have doubts about my work, it is logical."

Asked to name the doubters, Schuster replied with silence and the media conference was concluded.
