Real Madrid coach Ramos jokes with media over transfer plans

Real Madrid coach Juande Ramos had a joke with the media about his January transfer plans yesterday.

Asked if he wants to make one more signing, Ramos said: "Such discussions are done in private and with the sports management."

"There is no question of the coach publicly saying: 'I like this or that player'. Before any problem, I sit down with the sports management, I explain the situation and that is where it is."

One journalist piped up: "So you need a player?"

And Ramos replied: "I have told them (laughs)."
