Real Madrid coach praises Osasuna after draw

Real Madrid coach Carlos Queiroz believes the result was right in the end as Osasuna held the Spanish champs 1-1 yesterday.

Ronaldo didn't cancel out Ibrahima Bakayoko's opener until 15 minutes from the end to give visiting Real a point.

Afterwards, Queiroz said, "The result is right. Osasuna was better in the first-half and we in the second. It was not a very pretty game technically, but there was a great spectacle in terms of emotion and it is important to congratulate the players of both teams."

"Osasuna lost energy in the second-half and we made a pretty goal pretty on the counter-attack. In the second-half we had determination, desire and, mainly, ambition and character."
