Real Madrid coach Mourinho keen to keep Van der Vaart

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has told Rafael van der Vaart he wants him to stay.

The Dutchman's place at Real is under threat following the arrival of Mesut Ozil from Werder Bremen.

But Mourinho says: "For me, Van der Vaart is still as important as before the Ozil transfer. As always, I will listen to the wishes of the players."
