Real Madrid coach Mourinho: I want a happy Ronaldo

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho says he's looking forward to working with Cristiano Ronaldo.

It was interpreted this week that Mourinho had a pop at Ronaldo, insisting no player was bigger than the team.

But last night, the former Chelsea and Inter Milan manager insisted: "He can make a difference for us. He is a fantastic player, who can play anywhere."

"Besides the player he is, Ronaldo has a strong ambition and desire to win."

Mourinho added: "Playing as a striker, we can get more goals from him. I will also play him wide when the team needs to employ more attacking tactics."
