Real Madrid coach Luxemburgo wants new signings in place next week

Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo is pressing his board to complete their summer spending before he takes his squad to Austria this week to continue their preseason.
 
Luxemburgo admitted: "For me, the most important thing is to have the squad defined. When this is so, we will be able to work on tactics, but the important thing is to have the players available to test the plans."

"It would be good if everything was closed for Austria, but in football sometimes everything you want you cannot have because this world is complex."

Luxemburgo knows all of Real Madrid's efforts are on bringing Santos winger Robinho to Spain. But the Brazilian also wants a replacement for Santiago Solari and a central defender to cover the loss of Walter Samuel.
