Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo heaped praise on Espanyol star Ivan del la Pena after the diminutive playmaker undid his team on Sunday with a five-star show.

"He is a great player and I am not saying anything new in saying this. Here already you have seen that the fans feel great affection for him and he gives everything to them on the field," said Luxemburgo.
