Real Madrid coach Luxemburgo orders defensive training

Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo devoted yesterday's full training session to defending at set-pieces.
 
The Brazilian has been stung by criticism of his organisation when defending free-kicks after conceding four goals in two games to set-pieces.

Yesterday he had all his senior players, including Zinedine Zidane and Ronaldo, working on defending from free-kicks and how goalkeeper Iker Casillas' organises his defence in front of him.

At corners, Luxemburgo will persist with his zonal defence, which came unstuck against Celta Vigo last weekend. Apart from a hard session on the pitch, Luxemburgo also had all his senior players take part in video analysis of their defensive blunders after training.
