Real Madrid coach Luxemburgo: Nothing against Guti

Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo reaffirmed his support for midfielder Guti before last night's clash with Alaves.
 
Luxemburgo has been criticised for his infrequent use of Guti during the team's crisis, but the Brazilian insists he's rated the midfielder highly.

"I have never said that I did not have confidence in him, therefore he has not ever had to win it from me," said Luxemburgo.

"He is a very important player for us, but it is necessary to remember that a single player cannot win a game. The desire and motivation must come from the team. I trust all in the group."

"He is a fantastic player and he has great technique. It would please me that he always played with the form that he did against Athletic Bilbao. If he played always like that, he would always be in the starting XI."

"I do not have anything against him."
