Real Madrid coach Luxemburgo: Man Utd's Ronaldo a great player

Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo has admitted his admiration for Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo.

Sources close to the player say the Portuguese whiz is excited by the prospect of Real Madrid coming in for him during the summer market.

Asked about the reports, Luxemburgo told AS: "Yes, I read that yesterday. He is a great player, but our transfer policy will only be discussed inside the club."

"It is always important to take such matters carefully. I know how things work. Before the start of next season, Real Madrid will be linked with 50 names."
