Real Madrid coach Luxemburgo: I like Man Utd's Ronaldo, Joaquin

Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo admits he is a big fan of young wing wizards Joaquin (Real Betis) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United).
 
Both youngsters have been linked with Real ahead of the summer market and Luxemburgo said: "Clearly I like players like Joaquin or Cristiano Ronaldo, but I consider that leaving them stuck on the wing limits their capacity in a game.

"Who is more capable, Joaquin or Oliveira? Joaquin? But Oliveira scores more goals? That's because he is more central, more near the goal and not lost on the wing.

"For me, I like forwards who participate in the game from all sides."

Asked about Spanish football's use of wingers, Luxemburgo added: "We are in 2005, there are mobile phones, we have to evolve.

"Raul, for example, is playing now as a third forward with Owen and Ronaldo ahead of him, whereas before he did more work with a single advanced player."
