Real Madrid coach Luxemburgo: I know Figo is upset

Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo insists he will continue to count on winger Luis Figo to the end of this season.

Figo did not start in Sunday's El Clasico and only managed eight minutes as a substitute at the end of the 4-2 win over Barcelona.

"The trainer does what he thinks is good for the team," said Luxemburgo. "Some people were sad about my decisions, but I respect that."

"I do not have anything against Figo, he is a great player. I do the best thing for my club. In this squad, all the players must be ready to make sacrifices for the team."
