Real Madrid coach Lopez Caro won't rap Ronaldo over fans criticism

Real Madrid coach Juan Roman Lopez Caro has played down Ronaldo's critical comments about the Santiago Bernabeu crowd.
 
"I am not going to comment on individual declarations from players, although I understand what he is implying," said Lopez Caro before last night's match against Racing Santander.

"I only request patience from the fans, because we are going to give them great joy. They're very intelligent and demanding supporters and it is important to play at your best to meet their expectations."

Asked about Real's decision to make public their appointment of him as coach for the rest of the season, Lopez Caro added: "I am happy, this helps us to plan for the second-half of the season. It is an enormous responsibility, but the laws of football do not change for anybody: we all depend on results."
