Real Madrid coach Lopez Caro: I'm proud of my players

Real Madrid coach Juan Roman Lopez Caro refused to criticise his players despite last night's stunning 6-1 Copa del Rey reverse at Real Zaragoza.
 
Diego Milito struck four times in the rout, but Lopez Caro maintained: "I am very proud of my players and at this time even more so."

"Zaragoza produced an exceptional performance and were the better team on the night."

"I insist that the tie isn't over. Anyone who accepts that it is over are cowards. There's a great pride and courage in my squad and I know they will do everything to win this tie. Hope is still alive."

"I don't believe this result will affect our Liga form. The team has shown they can bounce back from much tougher situations than this. I am every confidence in my players."
