Real Madrid coach keen on Arsenal striker Reyes

Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo is keen on Arsenal striker Jose Antonio Reyes.

Luxemburgo held talks with Real directors on Thursday about his priorities for the summer market. While much of the meeting was taken up with discussions over Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard, Luxemburgo also made it clear he'd like to sign Reyes if a deal could be brokered.

The Brazilian coach doesn't see the acquisition of the Spanish international as a priority, but Reyes' name was on the agenda during Thursday's summit.

Also on Luxemburgo's shopping list is Seville fullback Sergio Ramos, but like Reyes, he doesn't regard the signing of the Spanish U21 international a short-term priority.
