Real Madrid Coach Juande Ramos Tempted By England Return

Despite being unable to turn things around at Tottenham earlier in the season, Juande Ramos thinks that he could still be a success in England, however, he would like to stay at Real Madrid next term.

Juande Ramos has revealed that he would not rule out a return to the Premier League and that he has already rejected one job from England offer since taking over at Real Madrid.

The former Tottenham Hotspur manager is confident that he could succeed in England, despite not being able to lift the north London side after they had won the Carling Cup last term.

After leaving White Hart Lane, Ramos did not have to wait long to be offered the chance to succeed Bernd Schuster at Real Madrid and he has turned the team around.

That success, which sees the Spanish giants with eight consecutive wins and counting, has started calls for his six-month contract to be extended beyond the summer.

Ramos knows that may be too much to ask because Madrid are due to hold presidential elections in June and a new leader will, most probably, want to sign his own man.

Now the coach is considering what to do next and, although he would like to stay at the Bernabeu, he also clearly feels that he could still do a job in England.

"My priority is with Real Madrid but I would also like to have a clear idea about my future," he told The Mirror.

"Just because I left Tottenham, that does not mean I cannot return to the Premier League."

"That league still holds many challenges for me."
