Real Madrid Coach Jose Mourinho Wants Sampdoria Midfielder Angelo Palombo

Real Madrid are looking at Angelo Palombo of Sampdoria as a possible addition to their midfield, according to both Sky Sport Italia and Il Corriere Mercantile.

Palombo, 28, is already being tracked by Juventus, who are keen to open up dialogue with the Genoa-based side as coach Luigi Del Neri swings the transfer pendulum into motion.

However, they face competition from Jose Mourinho, who is ready to stage early talks with Sampdoria over the player's availability.

The Blucerchiati have already said Juventus have not made an official approach for the Italian international.

"We have not received any offers from Juventus. Our aim is to keep all our big players," Sergio Gasparin told the press.
