Real Madrid coach: I decide who takes penalties

Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo was irritated with questions about his penalty takers after Sunday's 1-0 win against Real Zaragoza.
 
Robinho missed Real's first spotkick during the game and it needed the usual taker, Roberto Carlos, to settle the match after the hosts were awarded a second penalty.

"I decide who takes the penalties," said Luxemburgo. "You'd be wrong to say that Robinho went against my instructions. I told him to take the first one and then decided that Roberto Carlos should take the second."

"I don't want to fight with you (the media). I ordered Robinho not to take the second one. He wanted to take it and that was good, but I did not want to risk it because he had already missed."

"Roberto Carlos took the penalty and won us the three points. Robinho is upset because he wanted to take it. But that's football."
