Real Madrid coach: Guti will be punished

Real Madrid coach Juan Roman Lopez Caro says he'll punish midfielder Guti after he was sent-off in yesterday's 1-1 draw with Real Sociedad.
 
Guti became the second Real player in two weeks, following Roberto Carlos, to be sent-off for dissent and Lopez Caro said afterwards: "The disciplinary measures will be taken behind closed doors. We won't be making things public."

"Real Madrid still has a lot to play for and what will happen to Guti will be kept inside the club."

He added: "It's true we did not expect a performance like this after what we saw at Barcelona last week. We had three or four chances to score and bring more calm to our game, but we failed to do so."

"I must admit we weren't as good in attack as we have been in the past."

Ronaldo put Real in front before being forced off the pitch with injury. Sociedad's equalizer came through on-loan Liverpool winger Mark Gonzalez.
