Real Madrid coach defends Guti super-sub role

Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo admits Guti has been a major influence on the team's results this season.
 
The midfielder was again inspirational as he came off the bench against Rosenborg on Wednesday night to lead Real to one of their best wins of the season.

"The entrance of Guti was very important," admitted Luxemburgo. "Next to Beckham he gave us more quality in midfield."

"I am asked about him at every press conference. For me, he is doing very well. I could have made another substitution, but I chose him."

"We have a good relationship. I'm very happy with him."
