Real Madrid coach Capello: That's the Emerson I know!

Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello hailed midfielder Emerson after his superb performance in last night's 2-0 victory over Osasuna.
 
It was Emerson's first game at the Santiago Bernabeu for over two months and his display went a long way to winning over the skeptics in the stands.

Capello said: "This is the Emerson I know. Even for me, it was one of the best games I've seen him play today against Osasuna. He had composure and created a goal. Now he is fully fit and is working as he wants."

On Real's sudden title chances, Capello said: "We are behind, but we have recovered points and we are in good physical shape and with good spirit. If you want, we are also better psychologically. That is fundamental.

"I don't want to talk about our chances. We're going from game-to-game. For us, each game is a Cup final."

Asked about his own situation, Capello replied: "I have a contract with the club. I am working with great passion and hope - as always."
