Real Madrid coach Capello: I don't need new defender

Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello has cooled talk of needing a new central defensive signing.

Roma pair Philippe Mexes and Cristian Chivu have been linked with Real, but Capello insists: "This does not seem to me to be serious. Why say that we're trying for another central defender when we have four? Or that we want a midfielder when there are five or six?"
