Real Madrid coach Capello holds fire on Reyes, Emerson

Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello will hold fire on Jose Reyes, while also being supportive of Emerson after another week of controversy for the Italian.

At one of the most tense media conferences he's given this season, Capello refused to talk about his own situation and would only say: "We go into the derby (against Atletico Madrid) in good spirits. I arrive with the players that are fully supportive of me."

Asked about reports that Emerson refused to warm-up during the victory over Bayern Munich, Capello insisted the stories were false and that there were no problems between them.

On disparaging comments made by Jose Reyes, where he was quoted slamming the style of game employed by Capello, the Real coach said: "I spoke to Reyes and he told me the report was a lie. I will listen to the recording."
