Real Madrid coach Capello demands lighter Cassano

Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello has ordered tubby Antonio Cassano to get in shape.

Cassano, 24, was overlooked by coach Marcello Lippi for the successful World Cup campaign and Capello, who has just returned to Real for a second stint in charge, was blunt in his assessment of his former player.

Capello, in remarks to Marca from Real's training camp in Austria, said: "To Cassano I have said nothing except that he must again become the player I once knew. Now he is not the player I knew. When he played with me you could see the difference."
