Real Madrid coach Camacho wants to keep Chelsea target Morientes

Real Madrid are prepared to reject a big cash offer from Chelsea for striker Fernando Morientes.

New Real coach Jose Antonio Camacho is keen to hold onto the Spanish international, who was outstanding last season on-loan at AS Monaco.

Chelsea have made a bid for Morientes, but Real will leave the final decision with Camacho, who is indicating he wants to keep the centre-forward.

Camacho will hold talks with Morientes about his future at the Santiago Bernabeu and whether he is prepared to play second fiddle to Ronaldo in Real's attack next season.
