Real Madrid coach calls for calm after Osasuna rout

Real Madrid were humiliated 3-0 at home by Osasuna last night.

Real's on-loan Valdo struck the opener for Osasuna, with Pablo Garcia and Moha also scoring for the visitors.

Afterwards, an underfire Real coach Carlos Queiroz said, "It is important we don't drop our heads and remain focused for the last six battles we have."

"We didn't have any luck tonight. I thought we'd be able to cope with their aerial game, but it was very difficult. The most important thing now is to keep up morale of my players."

"We needed that bit of luck to score, we made chances. I am determined to help the players find the joy in football again. That's the key, they must start enjoying the game again and forget about outside influences."

He added, "I understand the fans' reaction. They want us to win and when we don't they are unhappy. We just need people to stay calm so we can recover our form."
