Real Madrid coach Ancelotti axes Casillas for victory over Elche

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti named Keylor Navas ahead of Iker Casillas for victory over Elche last night.

Casillas sat out the match on the bench.

Ancelotti said of Navas: "He was assured and calm. The whole defensive department played well and Keylor did too. He didn't have many opportunities to work but he was calm. On Saturday we'll see which keeper plays the next game and that way we have time to talk about this subject."

On Casillas, Ancelotti was asked if the boo-boys had influenced his decision: "No, not at all."
